Gallery Sanskriti was founded in Kolkata, in 1990, with a vision to conceive, create, nurture and nourish art and to provide a platform to aspiring and established artists to explore their creativity and reach out to the world.

On our journey, we have experienced the joy of working and learning together, in a relaxed work environment that induces creativity, and have established a base, far from the madding crowd, in the rustic and serene environment of the culturally rooted town of Maihar in Madhya Pradesh. 21 years hence, we tread on the road less traveled.

Sanskriti Ceramics, our ceramic studio in Maihar was born out of a dream to take our journey further into new horizons, exploring new forms. After all, can the heart ever ignore the call of the earth?
